We were able to go into the city and they swabbed Rosalia's mouth (which she hated!!) for the 2nd DNA. The problem is they couldn't send it to the U.S. lab today because they are still waiting for confirmation of payment from our agency. We received an email from the agency late yesterday saying receipt of payment was faxed in the morning and she repeated it in the afternoon. Both Tony and I called today and emailed without any response. We don't know what to think since today was supposed to be a "working" day and it is not like them to not respond some way. Sooo... we will see what tomorrow brings. This "orange" step has seemed like another major hurdle. WILL IT EVER END!!!!!!!!!!
I am a little frustrated tonight to say the least. We have to go back into the city one more time for the US embassy physical for Rosalia. I thought we could do that today also since it is in the same building, but NOOO.
We are thankful though that we are this far and so very close to coming home. We have friends here and at home that are still waiting to get out of PGN... it just is not always fair. I will update with any news tomorrow.
Love to all, Linda and Rosalia

Any delay when you are this close to being home seems like an eternity, but this is a very minor set back. Within a couple weeks you'll have "pink" and before you know it Joshua and Tony will be in Guatemala with you again to bring Rosalia home for good. Hang in there, because the wait is almost over.
