After talking to our lawyer's office this week, we have been told that our file will be submitted to the U.S. embassy on Monday. That should mean we will do our 2nd DNA on Tuesday (?!) It seemed like a long week when I was expecting to get this step done and not able to. It seems sooo.. close and yet we still have some waiting to do. It will happen though!!!
Today was the "festival of corn!" Another day to celebrate!! Coming on Sept. 15th - Guatemala's Independence day.

Although I'm sure you would rather be home on September 15th, it is so exciting that you will be able to spend Guatemala's Independence Day in Antigua. What wonderful stories you will be able to share with Rosalia and Joshua about your time in their birth country.
